Choose a photo that looks like her
The source photo does not need the final pose or outfit. It needs to show the identity details you want the portrait to preserve.
Use a photo with
- One child only
- Both eyes clearly visible
- The full face and hairline in frame
- Natural or even indoor light
- Sharp focus without motion blur
- The original camera file when possible
Avoid
- Beauty filters or face-altering effects
- Sunglasses, masks, hats, hands, or toys covering the face
- Side profiles or very high and low camera angles
- Group photos and screenshots
- Strong shadows or blown-out highlights
